An apology won’t be enough

I’m done fellas. There isn’t any way back for the club now, as far as I’m concerned; not under this ownership and board anyway.

Between them they’ve taken our club from us in the interests of *nothing* but lining their own pockets, ripped out its very soul, laden it with hundreds of millions in debts, taken (literally) hundreds of millions out in dividends and to service the debt, and now they’re abusing over a hundred years of proud tradition in weaponising the club to help destroy the football pyramid and club competition as we know it.

They can’t undo yesterday’s announcement, and I can’t endorse what they’re trying to achieve by continuing to offer the club my support.

Between them, these twelve club owners have taken decades and decades of the lives of millions of fans - their loyal support, their billions of hours on coaches, planes and trains, their contributions of huge proportions of their disposable incomes, their singing, their joy, their pain, their dreams, their very facking lives - and they’ve shat all over them.

How many times have they consulted with fans on these kind of proposals? How many times have they asked us where we’d like to see them take our club? Not facking one. They don’t. Give. A. Fack. About. Us.

FCUM is the obvious choice for me now being a Moston lad. A bit difficult to follow at a distance though so will probably throw the weight of my efforts into following Portimonense. Tickets are about EUR15-20, which isn’t bad for top flight football.

It’s been a blast on here lads. I guess I’m about to discover whether JA606 has a FCUM or Liga NÓS board, so I may well see you all around

Can anyone explain how us and a few other clubs leaving the ECA affects our upcoming Europa league semi? Does that mean we’re kicked out?

Was mentioned last night that the CL and EL have been temporarily suspended, but not seen anything today to back that up.

Interesting that UEFA has today postponed the decision to announce the final line-up of venues for the Euros.

Reckon they could be about to ditch venues in England, Italy and Spain to try and put governmental pressure on things.

BBC Sport

That was an amazing press conference from UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin.

He started on the offensive and kept going, calling the people responsible for the Super League plans 'liars' and 'snakes'.

Manchester United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward was blasted, Juventus chairman Andrea Agnelli was accused of walking away from his member clubs.

Ceferin said he will be talking to lawyers tomorrow to see if there is any potential for clubs being thrown out of European competition - five of them are due to play in Champions League or Europa League semi-finals next week - and players being barred from Euro 2020.

Fair play, Rosso, hopefully see you around in the future.

I'm going to stick around and see how this all plays out

Me too.

Life is too short to throw my teddy in the corner just yet. I think the Glazers have made a massive miscalculation here.

The upside is that I won’t have to read Rosso preaching statistics on corners to me again after another goal concedded by us that would have been avoided if a defender was on the post.

Good grief.

A new dawn really has risen on this page from now on in.

And Rosso. Hang on in there for now. Wait to see if it actually unfolds. This ain't going to happen IMO. These daft owners are just trying to blackmail even more money from their respective leagues.

Which they will probably get in the end.

It's so depressing that that seems to be the best we can hope for at the moment

What games are the academy boys that are coming through going to play? I can't imagine we'll be welcome in the Carabao Cup any more. That's another part of United off down the swanee then.

Word of the day is ‘ingordigiousness’: extreme greed; an insatiable desire for wealth at any cost.
