Brilliant news! Well done Chelsea fans, and everyone everywhere who has responded to reject this stinking money-grab. LIW is right, we have them by the throats, don't let them off! Points deduction must be a minimum to set an example.

And yes, I was wrong. I thought only the players and coaches might stop this. Guardiola, Klopp, Bielsa weighed in pretty quickly; the media did their bit; even Johnson and those incompetent fuqwits in government nudged this ball towards the line, but it was the fans in Manchester, Liverpool and London have saved the day.

That's an amazing thing - never thought that was possible, and so quickly. I'm gobsmacked.

And Woodward has gone too - slimey little toad must crawl back under his rock. I'm sure he'll suck out several more millions before he's done but at least he's no longer in charge of Man U. Joel Glazer must be next but fat chance of that.

Gotta say, Chelsea fans, that I wouldn't be happy trusting my club's future to the likes of Roman Abramovich. Him and Mansour need to go too. Let's legislate these billionaires out of the business of football!

a weight has been lifted now i can watch our game tonight in great spirits.
i see only a very few fans on 606 backed this fiasco.

But they did shout and along with many others supporting other clubs, they made the difference. Good on them!

It might have been overlooked, but did the demo's not start at the Leeds Liverpool game?..
