Anyway, good to see an unlawful killing of a minority by a police force anywhere getting a guilty verdict. Doesn't happen that much anywhere.

The USA has a similar issue to the UK in that for a long time money has predominantly gone towards fighting crime rather than investing in preventing it by giving people a proper way out.

Who in their right mind would actually want to be a cop in a lower socioeconomic area, it's not worth the danger and it shouldn't be surprising plenty of the people who do get into it are after a fight or worse

It's turning purple now because of all the Californians and NY'ers moving here. I'd give it another 10-20 years before it turns blue. We hate the fact they're bringing all their backwards policies here. I've seriously considered keeping the businesses running and moving to another state.
