So many good things about that football match.
We have won a football match after conceding the first goal
We kept and passed the ball really well. The speed of the passes was also top-notch.
We have curiously found a way to play so well when KDB, Sterling and Aguero are off the pitch. Add David Silva and Sane and you realise how much this team has evolved.
Difficult decisions for Pep to make at the weekend. Personally, I hope he rotates again. He faced a lot of unwarranted stick at the weekend but last night's game was more important than the FA Cup game. And the game against PSG is more important than the game against Spurs. Its that simple really.
But Pep being Pep will want to win the League Cup so expect the same line up on Sunday.I was more worried about Spurs with jose in charge as I was certain a low block would see us lose the game on Sunday. But they looked open yesterday and possibly without Kane I am more confident about Sunday.
They were all brilliant last night and the key again is Bernardo. He plays so much better in midfield or on the right. If we have to play KDB then drop Mahrez and play Bernardo on the right.
Would be nice to see Cancelo pick up a bit of form and add to our attacking play. The league is done. CL is where we need to put everything in. Wont be easy as PSG have hit some form.
Tidy Performance to take us back to Wembley

Bernardo was excellent, Zinchenko needs to understand that his right foot is for more than standing on but Foden is out of this world.

As a neutral City seemed a bit laboured. We had the same at Leeds last season at times. Lots of possession but that final ball just wasn’t there.
Glad you won though. Don’t want that red team winning it

The team is exhausted mentally more than anything else. Funny enough the turning point for this league title was at home to Villa and we finished it off yesterday. We were fortunate to win the first game although we still played brilliantly.
We lack a focal point (striker) hence the performances are a touch laboured.
Our season has been weird as I dont think we are even close to a complete team. We defended really well, gundagon scored key goals, we built pressure at the top of the league and united crumbled. Thats how we basically got to the position where we are.
We will have to play out of our skins to win the CL

The unwarranted stick is perfectly summed-up. Pep rotated all through the winning streak.
Let's hope Eric Door can slot in seamlessly in place of Stones on Sunday, and give Pep problems as to which to select vs PSG.

I think we may see Cancelo, RD, AL and maybe Ake as the back 4 at the weekend, unless he uses Mendy (yikes). Will KDB be fit for next week does anybody know?

I thought City were quite boring to watch last night. Zinchenko was poor and Bernardo looks off it.
I won't start about the referee not sending Walker off....

arent you supposed to be mounting a late title tilt. Dont worry about our form

I liked that pass from Foden to Mahrez in the build up to the first goal, it kind of swooped and dipped so it got their quicker ,Foden is doing some amazing things

I think when holding him back Pep is trying to make him smarter on the football pitch. Conserve his energy, not run all over the place and use his football energy, wits at the right time.

Foden's still only 20.
He's still growing physically - Probably another 2 inches in height and an increase in body mass yet to come.
Phil would want to play every minute of every game then have a kickabout after.
The way we develop him at the monent is crucial to his long term career.
