Last night pretty much confirmed what we already knew in terms of the destination of the title this year.
While finishing the league strongly is still important regardless of results this weekend we will be at worst 10 points clear of 5th with 5 games to go. Winning the Europa has to become top priority now.
Leeds is always a big game and I expect I real tough one as they are in great form (4 points from City and Liverpool in the last 2) but I do think it could be beneficial to give 2 or 3 an extra rest before Thursday. It’s been the first full week of rest some of these lads have had in almost a year.
Rashford looked the sharpest he’s been in a while against Burnley possibly due to playing less recently but Ole confirmed before the game he’s still carrying an injury. I’d leave him on the bench on Sunday. I know Dan James isn’t a world beater but his pace could cause damage to a Leeds side who will almost certainly have a go.
Bruno made his 50th appearance this season on Sunday. More than anyone in Europe this season. Donny has shown promise in both of his last 2 sub appearances and I’d give him a shot on Sunday.
I’d start Cavani in this one. There’s a fine between keeping him match fit and injury free but there’s still a 4 day gap between the games so plenty of recovery time.
I expect a tough game and obviously hope we smash but in reality it’s no longer a must win in terms of the season.

Ole risks not getting a trophy if he has his sights on getting a certain number of points in the league.
He needs to be strategic and choose his battles.
Before anyone says, I'm not talking about the Leeds game (as it could help certain players with match fitness), but the entire run in.

Sometimes I give an article I quite enjoyed two stars, just for the hell of it. Nothing can make you feel so alive.

On the team selection, we've had our first week off, well, all season. So the players in theory should feel a bit more well rested. But I suppose it depends on how they've looked in training and of course there are two big games coming up afterwards.
I say go with the strongest team possible, without taking any risks with players carrying any kind of injury. So maybe rest Rashford if he's still struggling even a little bit

I reckon we have enough depth to play a strong team in both games. the players will have had 7 days rest for the first time in ages. think it's important to also keep momentum up and finish the league season strong
