Perez

So the man seems to believe that Javier Tebas, La Liga president, was responsible for the protest outside Stamford Bridge

My understanding is this man is Real president for another 4 years to go

The focus now needs to be on ensuring the English clubs arent capable of such moves in the future but its worth keeping abreast of the goings on with the holdouts on the continent. At least Agnelli seemed somewhat sane.

Reminds me of the iraqi guy who was denying tanks were outside Baghdad and next minute you could see them driving through

He comes across as utterly desperate now.

Don't forget that Perez was only recently re-elected. Since he's returned he has worked tirelessly to change the club's rules around challenges to the Presidency.

Putin anyone?

Tabas is a total nutjob.

City found that out before they played Real Madrid last season.

“Football is a world of values.”

The man is unhinged. Complete and utter lack of self-awareness.

Seems clear to me that Perez/Madrid/barca were the main instigators, noting their financial situations, and they just tried to utilise the PL clubs being crippled by covid.

With every passing day he continues to preach that he is footballs saviour and ignores the fact the world said no to the superleague, the more desperate the Spanish giants seem.

My fav was when he said the top 6 in PL and the top 2 in Spain lose money but the other clubs in their leagues make money, and that isn't fair.

Erm... that's cos west Bromwich and Cadiz don't sign players for over 100million and pay players 500k+ a week 😅

Beyond ignorant. Embarrassed for Madrid fans that he is their spoke person.

Can be summed up in three words:

Gross financial mismanagement.

You can’t believe that a 70% wages to turnover ratio is sensible. There are schoolkids who would be able to explain why that’s a facking stupid idea.
