MATCH FACTS
Head-to-head
This will be their first Premier League meeting at Elland Road since October 2003.
Leeds' last victory over Manchester United in the Premier League was 1-0 at home in September 2002.
Leeds United
Leeds could go six consecutive Premier League matches unbeaten for the first time since 2002.
That unbeaten run was halted by a 4-3 home defeat to Manchester United, which included two goals from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
They have lost just once at home in their past six league games (W3, D2).
Diego Llorente's equaliser against Liverpool on Monday night was the 100th goal to be scored in a Leeds Premier League game this season. They have both scored and conceded 50.
Stuart Dallas has scored against Manchester City and Manchester United this season. The last Leeds player to score in three separate matches against the Manchester clubs in one season was Peter Lorimer in 1971-72.
Manchester United
Manchester United have earned five straight league victories for the first time since winning Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's first six games in charge between December 2018 and January 2019.
Their club record run of 23 away matches without defeat in the Premier League is only bettered in top-flight history by Arsenal, who managed 27 between April 2003 and September 2004.
United's 12-match unbeaten league streak is currently the longest in the division, followed by Leeds' five games.
This will be Solskjaer's 300th league fixture as a manager. He has won 152 of his 299 games so far.
Paul Pogba's senior club debut was at Elland Road in a 3-0 League Cup win in September 2011.
Mason Greenwood could become the first teenager to score in four consecutive Premier League appearances since Francis Jeffers in 2000.
So we host another member of the "elite 6" Man U on a good run just now and our own confidence running high so no reason why we can't finish this with a 2-1 win, Bamford and Ayling to score. Certainly if they want to take anything from this they will certainly have to "Earn It" on the pitch

I don't know if someone else has already commented but the last time we drew 0-0 against Man U was also in our first season back after promotion to the old div 1 in 1990. The following season we did pretty well."
Finishing 4th the first season back was also a job well done!..

Paul Ince just said Kalvin Phillips has all the attributes to be a world class midfielder. Another impressive display today by him.

Has Bielsa learned how to grind out a draw against superior opposition?

superior? wtf?

...Reckon Kalvin just cemented his place in the England squad for Euro 2020 - Southgate choosing this over the Caraboo or Moose Cup or whatever its called this year.

Proud of our defence today. Imagine if we had had all those that played today not injured and playing from the start how many more points we may have.
I reckon we would have conceded at least one goal less per game up to when Lorente started against Chelsea.
So points against Liverpool Wolves twice West Ham Brighton Everton Villa and a home win against Man City.
An extra 9 points would give us 56 and challenging for the Champions League.

You are right on both counts, Very Rev - we blocked them out very successfully, and Phillips is definitely stepping up another level - awesome today.
Kamara - yes, they are MU and yes they are a better side than us even though they are MU. The OT result left me severely dejected so I am over the moon with a clean sheet and a point today. It just shows how far everyone has come, including Bielsa.
By the way, how did Bissaka stay on the pitch after taking out Helder Costa, Sergio Ramos-style? Nearly broke Costa's back! If that isn't seriously dangerous play, I don't know what is.

Enjoyed the game - well the bits the ref didn’t spoil.
Just read through the thread and have to agree the ref gave them everything. Bamford’s booking was a joke and the ref was far too quick to pull the cards out for us. Roberts won the ball? Ayling actually slipped? Yet Costa gets assaulted and nothing given.
Other than that I think we did more than enough for the point. Just a pity Raphinha wasn’t available because he might have turned this game on its head.
Missed chatting today as it is my daughter in law’s 40th. She let me watch the game though whilst they all sat in the garden
A great 5 points from the last three games. Who’d have thunk it?

Llorente was class today, he’s a top player, Phillips the same. Both have world class attributes.
Badly missing some quality going forward, if we have half of what they have we’d have won that game.

Just watched it on record. Good point, poor performance. Bamford would have had a good game if he was wearing a red shirt. Costa and Harrison were pretty awful. Miss Raphina so much. Defence were excellent, Llorente and Philips especially. Man U were a joke falling over every time a white shirt went near them.

he was moving his arm away to avoid it. based on the new silloutette rule it was close enough to his body
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes....moving his arm away from his body. It prevented a possible goalscoring opportunity and he was a long way from where the ball was kicked.
