We should have scored 5 or 6 away to PSG this season but missed a ton of sitters and easy passes for tap ins. Also should have been 3-1 up at OT before they made it 1-2 so PSG are not that strong defensively. Today was actually a game they defended well in.

The chances City created werent good ones but it makes up for games where 20 plus chances have been created maybe 10 decent ones and only 1 goal scored

jasus i agree with hafi. Clearly the better team 2nd half but i think it was more to do with PSG dropping so deep, i didnt watch on BT my commentator pointed out straight away how the went to a low block 2nd half. And boy were they sloppy. They allowed the City pressure and couldnt get neymar or mbappe/di maria on the ball anymore. City did better 2nd half and PSG got what they deserved. I agree both goals were soft and gifts really. Foden should have made it 1-1 before HT mind there were a few moments PSG got away with it 1st half when they were really good.

It wasn’t that they didn’t allow the press, it was they didn’t have the option to pass through it anymore. The difference was we cut out the easy pass to midfield, that’s how they were able to get their shape up the field in the first half. When that stopped being an option, they they then went deeper and also looked to do the straight ball to Mbappe and Neymar, which was a lot easier for us to deal with.
