Silly Season starts

Pressure and expectation has burdened many a team in the past. My own view is that this is where Bielsa's flaws lie, one of the reasons why this obviously great coach has rarely stepped outside of the comfort of mid-table.

Bielsa has never really taken a job at a club with such lofty and demanding expectations and Leeds is the longest he's stayed at any club.

Not saying he doesnt have the coaching ability, may be not the aptitude to deal with the heightened pressure a top role would bring.

Kamara you should be ashamed of agreeing with that.
Bielsa said just this week that there is no equal to Leeds in terms of who he is interested in.
The reason Bielsa is not interested in such clubs is that he wouldn’t have the relationship he demands from either the board, or those players who think they are above the need to have to work hard.

And, to be honest, he HAS taken a job at a club which has lofty ambitions and demanding expectations. It’s called Leeds United.

Well this has been an education.

Tried to discuss things sensibly but end up being called lad, referred to as Spurtz, called an average team, and our chairman a clown it's clear you're not up for or may be not capable of reasonable debate

You guys are rightly proud of your manger but you seem to have managed the amazing trick of achieving levels of delusion while also having a big chip on your shoulder.

Leeds have a great tradition but really, you're nothing right now. A plucky newly promoted team who have surpassed expectations.

You have done extremely well this season but in an atmosphere of "just happy to be here".

Whereas the Championship is more of a war of attrition, the premier league is the ultimate examination of quality and tactics. You will have to raise your game even further next season just to stand still because this league is ruthless, finds and exploits any weakness.

And no doubt you supporters will be expecting more, even better results. Top 10 this year, wow! Top 6 next? may be a cup?

we have been out of top flight football for 16 years, yes 16 years, just let that sink in lad. you should give us a little respect as you know 'we are not famous any more'

since Bielsa walked through the door at ER we have been completely transformed from top to bottom and we are / have been plating some scintillating stuff in both divisions.
we have taken on his mantra & so far are reaping the rewards, so forgive us if we are shouting about it.

As for Bielsa, he has said himself he works because he likes to work with people and try and help their game, I wonder how many manacoaches out there have as many of their x-players in management as he has, cant be many and do their x's speak about what they've done for the game like his do?..

He has his way and trophies as much as he's as happy as the next when he wins one, ain't the top of his agenda!..

Leeds won the Championship last time out, he posed for a few photos with the team than stood in the shadows and let them get on with celebrations!..

We're not sure if he'll be here next season, but whether he is or not, the club is finally being recognised as a football club, something people have passed by without noticing for the last 16 or so years, and that's down to him, things are moving forward and I don't think AR and Co will let that slip!..

He's done more for this club than trophies would have done in that time and all that fans are doing wrong is letting their feelings be heard, Gowd Damn them for doing so!..
