llorente & koch will rule
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes but only with Diego going into DCM role and Koch behind him. I don't quite understand why we bought both, as it turned out we have needed both due to injury and as you know have had to shoe horn Struijk into that position at times.
But two internationals filling one berth doesn't make sense especially as we have obvious weak areas.
Alioski cannot have been the plan for left back, I don't know whether Bielsa thought Davis would come on enough to make that position his own but clearly if that was the plan it was flawed. Davis has, in my opinion gone backwards. He trains with the 1st team but seldom looks the part at under 23.
With Rodrigo out for most of the season, we lack creativity in midfield, it is a shame that Pablo's age has caught up with him, he has looked a shadow of his former self in the few minutes he has played this season.
I actually think either Koch or Llorente will go at the end of the season as I cannot see a full international wanting to spend the season kicking his heels waiting for minutes and I really do not see both of them playing.

nah llorente & kock will rule, we got lucky with struijks' progression, we always knew there was a player in their. great position to be in, feel for coops though

For the hundredth time. Koch & Llorente are right sided centre backs and Cooper & Struijk are Left sided centre backs.
Koch and Llorente won’t be a cb partnership u less both Cooper & Struijk are both injured. Bielsa has made this pretty obvious.
Llorente was only signed because Koch picked up an injury against Liverpool, 1st game of the season, that required surgery and would make him unavailable for a few months. Otherwise Bielsa would have stuck with cover from Ayling until Berardi was back fit.
