I think it is time for the club to knock

all the Kane rumours on the head once and for all.

They need to come out and say whether they are prepared to let Kane leave. If so smack a transfer fee on his head, say anything above £160 million, and then call him into their office, and tell him to put his cards on the table. Does he want to leave for personal glory, or does he want to stay to try to help Spurs as a club win some trophies. He then will have a choice, even though he is under contract for another three seasons, to either stay or leave.

That way all the rumours can then go away. Either a club stumps up the £160 million cash or Kane stays. That way it can be put to bed once and for all, and Spurs can start to plan properly moving forward.

I personally would prefer him to stay, but if he wants to move, let him come out and say so NOW. He can then be told, he won`t have a choice of clubs, it will be whoever meets the asking price that has been placed on him.

I for one am getting completely fed up with this media saga, that is just grinding on and on. I am only interested in my club, Spurs, not personal glory for any said players. So if a club say come of with the asking price of say £160 million, then that should be the end of the saga, and we can all move on.

Kane will leave on a free or a reduced fee as he won’t sign another contract.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Kane is under contract until 2024. He leaves for free he'll be 31.

If he doesn't go this summer he definitely will next after another trophyless season for Spurs.

Nobody is paying £160m in this economy. Spurs need to offset their ideal valuation against the cost of keeping a disgruntled captain and meet somewhere in the middle. £70-80m would be fair.

Here's a list of all the players Spurs wanted to keep over the years Levy has been there and managed to do so:

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Kane

Lloris

Toby

Dier

Tanganga

Davies

Sissoko

all players Levy wanted to keep hence him offering new contracts which they have all signed in the last few years.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Who were actually interested in them?

Disgruntled Captain? Yeah I'd take £70-80m for Lloris any day...Cheers

Strange one Alderweireld.

Good player isnt he, physically good, good spring, can pass, half decent pace.

Never been on big money or commanded huge fees, been dropped a few times for seemingly no reason with Atletico even willing to loan him out and yet he has 107 caps for a good Belguim side and is imo better than a quite large list of cbs at places like Bayern, Barca, etc, in that time.

£160m for a player with glass ankles that takes a six week sabbatical every season...

Good luck

Yeh, I would be extremely worried about a player that has scored 32 goals, despite being injured all season.

I found it hilarious that Roy Keane thinks Penited can get Kane, the bloke is still living in the 2000`s and there are a whole list of reasons why that will not happen.

160m is wild in the current climate. Prices out everyone. Which I suppose is the point

If Kane wants to go......he'd better go now.
He's already older than the existing CFs in his class.
He will have to pressure Levy a lot to get his asking price lowered to a reasonable level.
