Manchester B Team Fans

Fan power's a fine line that a few crossed today.
Looks like several coppers got hurt. That won't help
their cause. I do understand the worry of fans whose
clubs are owned by parasite yanks. Justified worry.

It wasn’t too long ago our fans were telling Bates to go and more recently it was “time to go, Massimo”. Fan power did work, eventually. Bates, however, I believe knowingly sold us to parasites. He must be fuming, in Monaco, at our current position. The fans are having the last laugh.

Having wished Bates a short retirement, I find myself glad he's still alive so that that he can see us flying now.

I don't think Bates gives a sh!t about our position - a parasite like that only cares about his own position.

I agree if you're talking only about our league position.

What you're missing is that fact that he will see us flying and be thinking about all the lovely Premier League millions he's missing out on. That and the fact that the club's value has rocketed compared to what he sold it for.

He lost the chance for more money. That will grate!!

Guy is so loaded that I doubt he even gives us a second thought

For people like Bates, "more money" and "winning" are always important. We'll never know for sure though whether it niggles him. Like you said, he's comfy either way.

I wonder if they would have protested if their team was playing to win the league yesterday?

My guess is that if they needed a win to secure the league then no way would they have got that game abandoned.

I'm really not sure many of them were thinking that deeply about it, just there for a good go at the stewards and police as much as anything. Shame is the point about the ESL is good, I applaud those that were there for that, as is the ownership issues if they have a real beef about that too. Fans should be able to show feelings. As usual many just want to hijack and kick off for there own agenda.
