Mohammad Bin Salman

I would love it if our new owner is Mohammad Bin Salman, some Russian Oligarch or American Billionnaire with infinitely deep pockets like Musk or Bezos

Imagine if we could blow the likes of City, Real Madrid, PSG out of the water in terms of transfers.

No thanks. Don't want a murderous human rights abusing regime at my club thanks.

Still better than the communist ideas that get peddled here like fan ownership etc
----------------------------------------------------------------------
How's fan ownership a communist idea?

Feck me this one is special.

I didn't realise United fans were a bunch of Marxists.

Trying telling Paul Pogba he'll be on the same money as the ground staff after the revolution.

...........

No you wouldn’t. You would find something to whine about with any of them.

would be fascinating to see a united who could legitimately spend 500m quid a year in transfers and not have to worry about FFP.

city would have to get even more creative with sponsorships and UAE speaking engagements etc to compete

There's a takeaway in Abu Dhabi itching to sign a £500m sponsorship deal. All legit and above board.

all rulers are murderers

------------------------------------------------------------------------

To the best of my knowledge, to take one example, neither the Prime Minister nor the monarch Queen Margrethe II of Denmark are murderers. Not all rulers are murderers. Moreover, not all owners of football clubs are rulers, and not all obscenely rich people are murderers. As far as we know, Bill Gates isn't a murderer.

We can all differ on our criteria for ideal proprietors and ownership structures, but I'd have thought not wanting an individual or organisation that uses assassination as a means to maintain its power and wealth ought to be a low bar to clear.

To be honest I’ve seen this argument a lot and I do get it. However I only have the interests of Utd at heart and if they take over and do a far better job than Glazers footballing wise then I couldn’t care less about their moral discrepancies.

Or carry on with the legitimate ones they already have.

BTW, do you have any figures on how many people Shiekh Mansour has had assasinated?

Last I heard it was zero.

Those burning a candle for Abramovich should really take a closer look at how he attained his fortune.
