We know the manager has been reluctant to change too much in europe this season but we can't ignore that first half last week. I felt PSG played us off the park and only our character and determination including a tweak in tactics carried us in the 2nd half.
The obvious change is Zinny for Cancelo. Not because of how poor Cancelo was but I also think in a game where we need to starve PSG of posession, Zinny keeps the ball better and provides better balance on that left flank. Foden and Gundagon play better with him on that side.
The other change is to bring in Gabriel Jesus. I doubt Pep will make this change but PSG's defence impressed me. Marquinhos is quality and Kimpembe can pass through the lines. In fact the entire back 4 is good and I feel we need a sharper edge than Bernardo and Mahrez upfront.
For me Bernardo is not droppable for this kind of game and KDB although a bit loose in posession wont be dropped. The options are Gundagon and Mahrez and I would drop Mahrez and send Bernardo to the flank.
We need a bit more bite upfront to unsettle the 2 Center backs and I think Gabby will provide that.

he subbed Fern on saturday so I did think it could mean something.
Funny I think Rodri is better for our team defensively especially at set piece time where I felt PSG rather dominated us.
But in terms of passes breaking the lines Fern is the man.
