Pep's Post Match Press Conference

He apologized to the players that could not play last night in each post-match presser. Some sincere comments about the club and the support he has received. As a man he is an amazing person, His handling of the players has been nothing short of magnificent this season as I thought he would struggle without Arteta.

Yes you can see that players like Kun, Laporte and Sterling are not happy and even finding it awkward to celebrate like they normally do but Pep has it all under control, even players like Mendy who don't play much are still there to encourage their teammates and maintain squad morale.

Maybe those initial fears were based on some public fallouts with some major footballers particularly at Barca (Ibra & Eto) and even at our club (Yaya and Joe Hart) but even those 2 have changed their minds and made up with him.

Gary Neville stopped short of calling him the best manager in the history of the game the other day but if he stays another 2 or 3 seasons he won't be the only one who thinks that.

He has been incredibly calm this season, even when we had poor results at the start not once did he chase games but kept faith in the players. I remember the draws against United and Liverpool but its like he could see what was coming.

Even against PSG when we are dominated, no panic. He just lets the players find solutions on the pitch.

I always feared for the club when Kompany decided to end his career 2 years ago. Kompany ran that dressing room and we saw the repercussions of his departure last season, no fight.

But this season there is so much to admire about the team's courage and effort and desire. We have hardly played anything close to our best football but we have managed games and suffocated the opposition like we strangled the life out of PSG.

The guy is a football genius and I am happy to be alive to see him create history at this football club. Never really warmed up to Sven, Hughes or Pellegrini.I loved Mancini, Peace, Keegan but Pep is next-level gravy.

I ended up loathing him and I still do.

I must have thrown my season card in the bin 17 times in one season. Him and his stupid stuffed toy.

I really dont understand why people dont rate Pep. It is the same as people calling Messi a fraud. Are these people so consumed by jealousy and hate that they cannot appreciate the genius of others?

Sven - Never there for the long haul. Lived in the Raddison Hotel for the duration of his tenure.

Hughes - I backed him and I felt he had a hrad job on his hands because the Brazillian contingent didn't respect him.

Mancini - Negative to start with but he grew on me when it looked like we might actually win something. Gutted when I heard he was being sacked just as we were approaching Wembley Way.

Pellegrini - Like him but we new he was only keeping the seast warm for Pep.

That's exactly the reason.

Gives me something to laugh at though.

I think anyone with a brain who understands football knows grudgingly that he is an above-average manager. I think it's a case of trying to bring down his achievements as we all like to do with great individuals. It sells more to pick holes in his character, ability achievements than to laud him.

Its the same with Fergie, we all attributed his success to intimidating referees. He only truly received acclaim from non-man utd supporters in his old age when he retired.
