Summed up the season - should have had five but wasteful finishing. Preston made a fight of it second half but neither of their goals should have stood.

Loan players faded second half, Christie struggled as Preston attacked. Krovinovic lightweight and missed two great chances, RN suggested Knockaert was counting down the minutes (TBF, he did atone for his error near the end after a sloppy pass in their half, raced back 40 yards to win the ball back).

Rev, your more generous than me, I would dispense with CH NOW, unfortunately his type of football is now too outdated if anything we’re worse under him. Garner didn't slacken off. If we could get him back for next season I'd be happy. Yates can still be a winner at this level.

If Lolley and Ameobi are fully fit next season we just need a full back or two, another good midfielder on loan, and a striker who scores goals.

Forest can eat up time by stroking the ball around, which is great if you're three goals up or hanging on for a valuable point away. We're usually very solid at the back. Add goals, and we'll be up there challenging.
