Pablo who?

Last season he was our talisman. He dragged us out of the quagmire of the Championship. This season, Tyler has replaced him. Result? No goals and a lot of huff and puff.
A lot of posters are saying that he is finished, past his best, and so on, but what evidence do we have to demonstrate this? A ten minute cameo here or there? Last week, the game was crying out for Pablo to come on but Bielsa has hardly played him since one moment of petulance when he was subbed against Leicester. Sorry, but I do not believe that a player as influential and smart as Pablo suddenly loses it when the team get promoted to the Premier League. Last season, he was miles better than Tyler. People say Tyler is the future. To you, I say, what about the present?
Bielsa, bring back Pablo.

Ability wise, Pablo is definitely better than Roberts.

But at 36, he can't do the running and pressing anymore which counts even more in this league where players are quicker and more agile than the Championship.

Would loved to have seen more of him this season but if he was up to it, Bielsa would have used him.

Tyler may not be the next David Silva but I think people are being too harsh at times.

Personally think one of his main enemies to his stats has been several very marginal VAR calls.

As much as Pablo has turned into a genuine Leeds legend based on service since 2016, his time is now well on the wane.

I have consistently stated that we do not follow the errors of the past by allowing players to grow old together out of loyalty and sentiment as in the mid seventies.

Having said that it would be extremely fitting to see Pablo given a good send off by some fans at some point this season.

It's a simple who can run the whole game!..

Pablo has been brilliant for us since coming here, but that never goes forever!..

Roberts runs more than most on the pitch, in our team that takes a lot off doing, and there's the main reason why Pabs isn't used as much, we want him on the pitch playing not dying and Bielsa knows that!..

And anybody that plays for Bielsa does exactly what he wants them to do, so, the press is his game and the older you get the harder that gets!..

Pablo has been great, but we've had great before and because of time we've had to let them go as well!..

Good point. Can't remember exactly but would be a goal and a couple of assists, and add to that the good chances he set up for Harrison against Sheff utd and Liverpool and hitting the bar vs Chelsea.

Whoever says that a game "was crying out for Pablo" is probably correct.

The thing is, they actually mean the game "was crying out for Pablo from a couple of years ago".

I love Pablo. He's been one of the most skilled players we've had at any level, but sadly age has impacted his usefulness for us.

It was always going to happen.

Roberts is just like bamford in his forst season in some fans eyes.

Literally no matter what he did never got credit for his work cause he wasn't banging in a tonne of goals.

Didn't matter his work rate, his passing and how vital he was to our structure and style of play.

Just

Bielsa has regularly used him and relied on him. Just not his season because the pace of the games and the pace of the league are beyond him.
