it must be now, that Spurs are a very average outfit. So many players just refuse to step up when needed.
It will take four or five years to get rid of most if not all of the current squad, so it will not be a quick fix, and cannot see much of a challenge in the Prem for a few years now.
Every player of the current squad surely has to have a price on their head, see how much money Spurs can get in, and invest in some real winners. I currently do not see one single winner in our side.
Defence is a carcrash, and even going forward, more often than not the final ball is atrocious, crossing is poor, set pieces are poor.
I shall watch the last few matches, but not expecting much, probably win the home games and lose at Leicester, so have already fast forwarded in reality to next season, and the rebuild begins. New manager for a start, then over the next three or four seasons, a completely new squad. Would be nice to see a few youngsters given a chance now.

Been saying for a while now, that it’s the players who keep costing us....
I don’t blame Poch or Jose one bit...
How can you expect to win anything or get top 4, when you’ve got : Aurier, Doherty, Sanchez, Dier, Davies, Winks, Sissoko & Dele Ali in your squad...
They all need to go
We so badly miss Walker, Rose,Eriksen, Dembele & Vertonghen...
The right back situation is a complete joke... Aurier & Doherty are woeful
So is the centre back situation ...
Such a massive decline...

Spurs are actually 1st for outperforming expected goals for and against this season so you have great attackers and goalkeeper or luck. Just need to be more dominant.

When Levy keeps giving us mid table players like Hojberg, Doherty, Sissoko, Aurier, Davies, Dier, Sanchez and Winks, then that is where we will eventually end up.
You can not polish turds, Levy signs average players on the cheap and expects a winning team, he runs Spurs as a business first and a football club second.
ENIC are our problem, and we desperately need these parasites out of our football club.

Totally agree Billy. Whist Enic and Levy are still there it will always profits first success second. Feel sorry for whoever the new manager is as he will be expected to get champions league qualification on a shoe string budget.

I wonder what Levy is going to do now?
- A big new empty stadium gathering mortgage payments each month.
- No chance of European football next season
- Marquee players wanting out of the club.
He can shout that Kane ain't for sale as loud as he likes,....if the player wants out he will get to go.
Perhaps ENIC might consider selling out?
