Instead of faffing around and experimenting with Jose for a season and half we should have just done a swap with PSG.
It sounds a bit too simplistic, but stranger things have happened. So why didn't we try. Tuchel would have been clearly open to coming to Spurs.
What has the club publicly said about the profile of the manager it wants?
Young, plays good football, is tactically astute. Umm yeah, Tuchel ticks all those boxes. He has shown his credentials already at Chelsea.
Now we are trying to talk up the "brilliance" of the likes of Scott Parker and Graham Potter. Managers who with all respect cannot currently be considered in the same breath as Tuchel.
This is not kneejerk. My previous articles will show that I have been advocating Tuchel since he was at PSG.
The editorial below from The Spursweb about the influence of Steve Hitchen is also damning and not far off tbh.

If that's real I would actually prefer Max Allegri to Inzaghi who is still unproven. This is a shambles of a situation we are in.

I have already told you that you are getting Koeman. You do not need to list other managers. Good appointment I reckon, has done a good job with Barca really given their current state but he has known from the start he is only there for the season.

Not sure how Tuchel got the sack after taking PSG to the CL final, and winning the League. The fella that has followed him may not even be winning the league.

He landed on 3-5-1-1 after Lazio sold Balde & Felipe Anderson & gave him nothing back on players, played 4-3-3 before that. Think that's why he's catching Levy's attention, proven to build a competitive team with no expectations of money.
He's a very underrated manager IMO. Fell into the job after Bielsa left them stranded after two days, and did a better job than he probably would've. Not sure how he'd do away from Lazio, cos it's "his club" and everything, but he's no mug

Yeah won a Copa Italia I think. Did really well last season too, had a nice unbeaten streak going before lockdown broke their momentum. Could've easily won the league without that distraction.
