Thought we played well

Given the circumstances. Changed Team, they needed the points more and we were a bit unlucky, even Tuchel alluded to that. Not sure why some our fan base feel the need to scape goat a few select players.

On the 21st of November 2020 we were 8 points behind Spurs having lost 2-0 to them. At that stage we had 12 points from eight games having only scored 10 goals.

We have played 2 games a week ever since except the time we had a Covid outbreak. Rotation has meant we have managed to avoid serious injuries except (Aguero, Ake, Jesus, KDB, Gundagon and Laporte)

The rest have been healthy all season and it has helped put us in the position we are in. Yes we are all nervous about 29 May but that day will sort itself out. We have done what we needed to do to get there.

The league title will also sort itself out because we have done what we needed to do. We might win it without even kicking a ball but its been this easy because at crucial points I feel Man utd let themselves down. We havent been vintage City this season, but we have defended well and managed the 2 game a week schedule well so I struggle to understand why some fans are moaning about rotation.

Confident about the end of the season. If we avoid injuries we should be okay.

On the decisions I thought Sterling was lucky to get away with a yellow. The penalty calls were 50/50.

Fair play.

People usually include both Cancelo AND Danillo when they're trying to tell us how much our defence cost.

I wonder why £1.7m Zinchenko doesn't get much of a mention in these sort of threads.

I get what Boris has been saying on many articles that the team Chelsea have faced in both games will be nothing like the team they will come up against in the CL final.

Ederson
Walker, Stones, Dias, Zinchecko
De Bruyne, Fernandinho, Gundogan
Mahrez, Silva, Foden
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Barring injury, the GK, that back 4 and at least 4 of the other 6 players will start in the final.

Because he didn’t start yesterday and this is the only thread I see where we’re talking
About yesterday’s line up?

On United's penalty: "I don't think anybody knows, everybody is confused how Raheem Sterling can go through and have four or five touches on him last night and not get a penalty, then one touch here and it is a penalty - it looked a pathetic decision to me, but he goes down, similar to Old Trafford and last season here.

Chelsea’s B team > City’s B team then.

And we’re perfectly set up for their supposed A team who looked crap against PSG until they fluked a couple of goals.

How bitter.

Wouldn’t read much into it. Interesting experiment see how we would play without a midfield though, which was better than expected for a lot of it.
