Can we sell Saka

I know he is our best player by a distance but, in hindsight, we could easily make £100m for him and buy a Pepe and a Tierney.

That money plus selling Lacca, Gwen, AMN, Mavro, Kola, Willock, Torreira, Mustafi, Holding, Chambers and Nketia we could easily raise more than £250m.

But can we trust Edu to spend wisely like Chelsea did in buying Havertz, Ziyech, Warner, Pulisic and Mendy?

LMAO. £100m for Saka . He is not even worth £40m yet.

Spurs might give you £100m for Saka out of the £200m they're expecting for Kane.

Yes we could sell Saka - if we’ve lost our minds…

Pepe would be a better sell, he’s improved but doesn’t seem to be able to handle PL intensity well enough to be consistent and we should get good money for him.

I wouldn’t sell Mavropanos, but I would sell AMN even though I like him because he only wants to play midfield and he’s not looked good enough to play there if we are going to be ambitious.

Hard for anyone not named Saka or Tierney to havde been consistent under Arteta. His constant musical chairs with position and starts aren't really conducive to anyone finding consistent good form. Tierney and Saka have managed it by largely being the only players actually used by the manager. According to his footballing system, the other 8 outfielders are just there to make up the numbers and give the ball to those two players to win every game. Having watched what's happened to the other youngsters at AFC under Arteta, if I was Saka's agent or parent I'd be telling him in no uncertain terms to cut and run now. Off the back of a great personal season whilst his stock is high and the gettin's good. It's dumb luck that's seen Saka make it through this season healthy, Arteta certainly couldn't give a sh !t who he breaks.

Arteta being a threat to Saka's career himself is just one reason to go, the other is the club itself. If the managers keeping his job after this shocker of a season, then my kid would be outta there. Failure to sack Arteta is guild-edged proof that for now AFC is rotten to the core and going on a downward spriral fast. No way I'd let it take my kid's highly promising career with it. Part of me wants Saka to get himself and his bright future away from the curse of this manager. I'd rather see him succeed in another team shirt than Arteta destroy his career in ours. If he's smart then his agent's got feelers out already looking at his options.
