28 points behind City with three games still to play. Let’s say 9 wins would’ve had us a point behind them right now. 10 would’ve got us top. That’s pretty much a quarter of the campaign that separates us and top. Absolute shambles. We’ve had 13 losses and I’m sure that’s not all of them when the season eventually concludes.
How many of those defeats were down to awful tactics and just as bad play let’s performances? When you are a within couple of wins or so away from the title, you can look to strengthen one particular area such as when SAF bought RvP after finishing behind on GD to city prior season. But when you are equivalent of 10 wins away from topping the league, then the problem is too big. Liverpool actually showed with Klopp that a world class manager cab on his own halve that gap. They then bought Alison and VVD and ended up winning CL and PL.
But not everyone can have such an instant success, so here we are. We will definitely end up with a longer wait than Liverpool too for our PL title if something isn’t done.
9 wins

Leicester finished 46 points off top one season then won it the next with the most expensive signing being Okazaki at £7m.

Arteta is saying KSE will be backing him with funds this summer. Our unwanted owner finally investing and its throwing good money after bad at a "process" that is already failing big time.
