PSVR2 possible specs

Ok this should be taken with a pinch of salt, as this is not directly from Sony.

I normally wouldn't post a rumour, but I am very interested in VR and what Sony plans on doing with it, and it is what I was expecting.

Apparently it will be 4k, utilising eye tracking and foveated rendering, also the headset itself will have some form of haptic feedback.

4K is pretty obvious, Eye tracking, the headset will track where exactly you are looking, and with that information will use foveated rendering to keep the image you are looking at sharp, but the image in your peripheral vision will have less detail.

This is something I was expecting Sony to use. it is how the eye works, so saving image quality for what you are directly seeing, will free up valuable resources, which should allow for an even more immersive experience.

Haptic feedback in the headset I was not expecting however, not sure how it will work, but I'm guessing it will be somewhat subtle, and not like a punch to the head.

If these specs are true, coupled with the PS5, I can imagine seeing a huge leap over the original PSVR (It still boggles my mind that Sony got VR working on a PS4)

I really think the, PS5 and PSVR2 could be a match made in heaven.
