It is a good case for his legacy, Suarez still being able to ‘drag’ the underdog team Atletico to a title as well as his prior achievements. Compared to his contemporaries (Messi, Ronaldo, Lewa,Neymar,Benz etc ) it’s a pretty unique effort

Best player I ever saw in the flesh in a reds jersey. You dont appreciate fully just how much he did until you see him live. He was everywhere for 90 mins.

He is a little unfortunate his career came in the Messi/Ronaldo era otherwise he’d have a Ballon D’or or two to his name. In terms of on paper stats and awards he’s the greatest striker to play in la liga in the last 50 years.

The best player who ever played in the PL after Ronaldo? Or should that go to someone else like Henry maybe? Henry probably didn't quite hit the height that Suarez did though.

Henry won multiple trophies in the UK, Suarez only won a league cup with Liverpool.

What I loved about Suarez is he would take a chunk out of the defenders, and have it with a mustard sauce!

Not at all. I also think suarez is probably the most gifted player i also saw playong live and that includes torres, salah and gerrard.

I think carragher said if he stayed few more years he would.prob go down as one of liverpool greatest ever players. He was that good.

Suarez is probably the best ever Liverpool player talent wise.
