I am reading a few stories suggesting that Southgate will have to choose between TAA or RJ for a squad place for the Euros. I have no idea if that is the case or not, but if it is true then TT's use of RJ as a CB in a back 3 may just give him the edge. I have no view as to who is the better full back or wing back, but RJ's versatility is a huge plus for a manager in Tournament football and might just earn him selection.
Has Tuchel made Southgate's mind up ?

Would be absolute madness to not include TAA imo. So good technically and even his set piece delivery is first class. Yes, he's not the best defensively, though better than he's given credit for. But if you're going to play with 3 CBs, as Southgate often does, then you should be giving your full backs licence to play in a manner that suits TAA's strengths. I just find with Southgate that even with the 3 CBs and 2 holding midfielders, he's still pretty cautious in terms of how he wants the full backs to play.
James is a class player too imo. But not always first choice at Chelsea either, which could count against him. I think they should take both, personally

Think it's more a case of that RJ looks better in a waistcoat.
Can't be footballing reasons

Could be the fact taa is a liabillity defensively.
That said, i would take him because he’s offered what no other English fullback can in offensive ability.,

Take both plus Walker, especially now we can pick 26.

Even Marcelo looks an absolute liability for Brazil, he’s closest comparison to TAA to go off. The team set up/coaching level just isn’t there for TAA’s ability to be maximised for England. Gotta do what’s best for the team.

Only Trippier is the one Southgate is guaranteed to take.

I’d take both. Rj can now cover Walker who has shown good versatility himself but I’ve never rated that highly.
RJ is probably the best all round without being the best going forward (taa) or best defensively (can’t find an example so he may actually be our best rb defensively?)
Nobody bring that clown wan bissaka into this please
