Have been waiting for someone to come up with an article on this subject --- seems like ja606 is not that active in motorsport section.
Anyway what you guys think of Kimi coming to F1 next year? Autosport has written a good article on this issue - does anyone have access to it? Elsewhere Benson on BBC website and James Allen in his blog have already covered it. Both of them seem to be very positive that the deal is in serious consideration if it was not done already.
Kimi in F1?

Please god NOOOOOOO!
He was obviously bored and disintersted in 2009, why would he be any better now.
Besides, there is plenty of fresh tallent out there that needs a tryout.

I hope Kimi comes back. I love the thought of six champions on the grid next year.

if it's with williams,i don't know what he would give them
raikkonen is a quick out the box driver, like montoya, alesi and dare i say it hamilton
ferrari went backwards under his leadership, infact it was massa who took the fight to mclaren's in kimi's last season
formula 1 has also changed in that little time, espcially with raikkonen trying a different discipline, can't see him being on the pace
look how long it's taken schumacher and he is the consummate professional
sorry,i can't see raikkonen having any impact on formula 1 this time around

lord pros
it could be a good move by williams to obtain the services of KR , barrichello is not the ace they desparately need to take them forward where as KR very likely is the quicker driver ,
i think with the return of renault engines for there 2012 machine , williams are desperate to find a real ace to put in the car next year and there is no doubt that in the right chassis kimi raikk is certainly that
-- and then some
kimi was never at home with the aldo costa understeer nature of his ferrari chassis"s hence some of his mediochre performances with ferrari ,
if williams can provide kimi with a chassis that he feels at one with and armed with the potent renault engine , then who knows ,
personally i think it could be a smart move by frank , barrichello is never going to take them to the highest level even with a competitive chassis , where as a much younger KR in the right chassis possibly can -
----- what has frank got to lose --
