On form Greenwood had to go. He's a also a wild card for the those games where we are chasing.
Saka has had a good season but he doesn't have a big impact.

He would be silly to take 10 defenders. He should leave Dier and a full back out. Saka can cover full back, Phillips, Henderson and Rice have all played CB in emergencies.
Greenwood in and then maybe JWP or a striker.

But Southgate will probably take too many defenders.

3 keepers, 9 defenders, 5 central midfielders and 9 attackers would be a decent balance given our options.

Wouldn’t take Dier. Don’t need 5 designated CB’s when Shaw, Walker & James can all cover a CB position in a back 3.

Would rather Trent than Trippier and I’d bring in JWP over Dier for something a bit different as an option in midfield, especially as Henderson & Rice have had injuries recently and may not be fully match sharp. I’d find a place for Greenwood, too.

He has bottled it and will be naming a preliminary squad.

Tbf it is probably injuries. Henderson and Phillips doubts I think.

Dier not even making the 33. Makes sense to me, but still a surprise.
