Inter played some nice football this season and his tactics would suit our current crop of players, plus bringing him in would help sign some Inter players.

Yeah to me it feels like we tried the negative, results based football with a supposed proven winner and it was a complete failure. Should we really try the same thing again?

Jose is finished though - hiring Conte would be like hiring Mourinho 15 years ago.

I have no doubt that the results would be great but like I said it wouldn't excite me compared to something long term and the football isn't nice enough

Starting to warm to it as another short term thing with kane still around.

Then Potter or poch back latter down the line for building back up.

This is where I'm at. The Jose comparison is lazy. Conte is currently a world class manager and has just done another successful stint at a top European club. Jose was a washed up has been when he joined us having dragged Chelsea and United into the gutter.

Conte wouldn't last 2 years, I don't mind having one last hurrah with Kane before getting a Potter in. Conte doesn't destroy teams like Jose. I would back him to leave us in a decent position in 2 years time.

Would there be a Jose comparison if Conte hadnt managed Chelsea and wasnt also a bit of a caant? For me they’re totally different. Conte overloads the final third, a high press, short passing, a front two system. He’s in his pomp right now, unlike Jose, and feels like a coup for Spurs if it happens.
