No big surprises here.

Headline for me is that the club have offered Gjianni a new contract and the ball is now in his court I guess.
I would like him to stay, on many levels, my favourite player at the club, love his energy and zest for life.

If we do sign Nandez then I definitely do not see him & Dallas playing together in the midfield which will be a big sign of the plan going forward.
Klich is great because he can be the more attacking or defensive of the two depending on who he is playing with. Dallas will always be more defensive, Roberts & Rodrigo will always be more attacking and couldn't play together either.

Is the feeling that Drameh will step up to be Ayling's back up? Or will Mr. Utility continue to cover both LB & RB spots? I personally think Dallas in midfield has been a revelation. Would prefer that he gets more time there next season. Wonder if the club were surprised in any way by his play in the middle? Did he cause Orta/MB to rethink their summer targets? Or is his age a negating factor.

I expect Dallas will always get game time even though I don't think he will be in the first choice 11. He's just so reliable in a number of positions and players will always need cover. Think he will start as the automatic replacement for both RB & LB. Drameh may be able to force his way into second choice during the season. I hope so because that would be some achievement and will really bode well for the future.
Don't think Dallas was really part of the plan to play in the midfield. He got his chance there for a number of reasons. Failed to sign Cuisance. Klich was injured/lost form. Rodrigo horrendous defensively and we had a number of game were the midfield was torn apart out in transition. Dallas was the best solution to all of this at the time and it worked so well. But I only think it was because so much of the original plan went wrong that meant Dallas was a solution to a problem rather than part of the plan.

I have to disagree, sorry. Dallas took the CM position and made it is own. Cant see the logic of replacing him. Think we need extra in midfield but more of an attacking midfielder.

Anyone get a sense that Forshaw will stay? Rotten season for him due to injury. Always liked him. If he
can stay healthy, and stick around, he's worth it.
IMO
Almost forgotten about Cuisance. We dodged a
bullet there. He's not exactly set the world alight.

Forshaw has a year to run on his deal and due to him being pretty much injured for two he wouldn't get a contract anything close to what he has here for anything more than a year.
He will remain here till at least the end of his contract.
He'd be silly not to when he can get that guarantee of good income for another year.

Bielsa also a massive fan of Forshaw, so if he can get back fit then reckon he will probably be involved.

Forshaw, up to his injury, was in fine form, I am pretty sure that he would have added so much to the promotion push.
If he had stayed fit and played, I wonder at whose expense.

What about Pablo? Interesting his name isn't on the list of those being let go after contract ending. Or has his contract not finished?

As far as I was aware he has another year on his contract.
I imagine he is off to the club he owns in spain
