Not sure. TAA has recovered in the last month but Walker's been fairly consistent throughout the season. He and James can cover central defence too, where we have lots of problems.

I don't rate Walker at all. Not great at anything really in terms of technical ability, just incredibly fast and powerful. Poor player for me.

In fact, Trippier is the one I don't like but apart from being Southgate's love child, I think he's there because of his crossing ability.

I agree Walker has been consistent throughout, but I just think TAA has been better.

I think we would be best taking both James and TAA really. James covers central defence better than Walker does but that's probably because I don't fully trust Walker's defending, but then again, I don't with Stones either.

Lingard has been left out apparently. Southgate culling United players from the squad.

Rumours that Shaw is also being cut in favour of playing one of the extra RB's as back up LB.

If that's true it will probably end up being Trippier as the back up full back as he's played on the left for England before if memory serves?
