Did you check for a return address on the box?

Yes. All it has is RNB Group, Leeds. They are just a direct mail company. It has a tracking number so I might try and check that.

Tracking only shows Royal Mail tracked 48 details. No sender

Assuming you want to look a gift horse in the mouth, if there was some paperwork in the box with an order number on it, you could contact RNB Group to see if they can tell you who placed the order.

Something like you've experienced - nice or not - would drive me crazzzzzy!

No paperwork at all. Addressed to Stoop suggests it’s someone who knows me or belongs to a forum I’m on. I’m Stoopo on quite a few though. Nobody on here, for example, would address me as Stoop.
