Perhaps that new CB we want is on his way after all... on his way over from RB.

#mufc are thinking of playing Aaron Wan-Bissaka at centre-back in pre-season. Solskjær is keen to see if he could handle the position #mulive [@reluctantnicko]
It would also explain the interest in Trippier.

He will do well in a back 3. He has the pace to cover for the right hand side when Trippier pushes higher up the pitch.

Tuanzebe would be a vastly better option there; actually is a CB. Can play right back. At least as fast as AWB and is a better passer of the ball.

This is a joke, right?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Might be, I don’t know. Just saw it on Twitter.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I hope it’s bull but I wouldn’t put anything past Ole after the EL final fiasco.

Why are we trying to sign the championship quality players from a mid table team? Baffling and ludicrous enough that I doubt it can be true.

Why are you getting all worked up over transfer gossip? Get a grip.

he's trying to find the Ole Out angle to pin on it.
But struggling. Badly.

There's no way this is true given how susceptible he is to any movement in behind him or from side on and in the air.
It would be a horrible decision.
I doubt we'll be play that often with a back three/five either if we sign Sancho which I think we'll do at long last.

If this nonsense came to pass then I wouldn’t need to find the Ole out angle. It would be laid bare for all to see.
That said, I don’t think Ole is that bad a manager to want either of the Spurs clowns, or to play AWB at CB.

Logic dictates that a second rate manager will build a second rate squad. We await to find out.

AWBs marking is awful and he struggles to play his way out of RB.
Always thought right side of a back 3 could be a good position for him.
