He’s apparently considering a bid worth £2b or $2.8b USD to buy Arsenal.
United’s current market cap is $2.55b.
How on earth does this guy - and indeed the Arsenal board - value them higher than us?! No wonder Spotify never makes any money!
Also, the majority of Ek’s wealth is tied up in shares of Spotify. So where is he getting the capital/liquidity to complete the takeover? Is he liquidating shares? Is he buying Arsenal using shares? Or does he have the cash after taking Spotify public? Doesn’t make any sense to me. And neither does it make sense how he and his company can be worth so much when they have never made a profit.
If this goes through, the Glazers would want close to $5b to sell.

If you call saddling the club with more debt "investing his own cash" then sure. Anything he has provided will be paid back with interest.

The club in its entirety, be it loans, or profits are owned by Kroenke. So that means debt and any income. As it goes however he has not increased debt on the club itself. I am quite sure he has on the holding company. I won't be surprised if he has leveraged Arsenal to its £2Bn value. But at KSE level. Not on the individual businesses.
