Par for the course with managers these days, short first contract then build it up if he does well, it’s a safety measure for the club. The human gargoyle has just been given a three year deal at Pikey FC after winning the ‘finished above Spurs for the first time in 20 years’ cup.

You can have a conversation about finance and football over MS Teams, you go to the Bahamas for pleasure. Levy is on his holidays, which is good to know when we are now 55 days without a manager and Paratici the new DoF hasn’t technically been signed yet.

Lewis is mid-80s. He probably thinks zoom is a mobility scooter brand. When Billionaire owner says come see me, you probably drop everything and get on your private jet, rather than suggesting a teams call.

According to The Telegraph, Tottenham’s move for Fonseca has been led by incoming sporting director Fabio Paratici and is only awaiting final sign-off from Levy, who is in the Bahamas with club owner Joe Lewis.

The announcement is only pending paperwork and Tottenham hope to be able to present their new manager, as well as Paratici, by early next week at the latest with Fonseca set to fly to London this weekend.

Fonseca’s contract includes the option for a third year, until 2024, and he is believed to be earning dramatically less than Mourinho.

Hopefully Levy has gone to strangle Lewis for being tight
