I have a feeling Wales might go out. That’s an awkward group - they could play well in all three games and still finish last. Hope I’m wrong. Czech Republic might not make it out of our group too.

Not so sure, they don’t have the players turkey or the Swiss have but they have a knack of pulling out unexpected results, and certainly have good team spirit. Really enjoyed their exploits in euro 16

For most in the squad playing at a major tournament will be the pinnacle of their careers so they may just give it that bit extra. The likes of England, Spain, France, Germany are different as their players generally are at the very top in the club game.

I'm genuinely just happy that we're there. We could lose all three games but I don't think we'll be embarrassed either. All the games will be tight. Just hope Bale has a good few weeks left in the tank. I've a feeling playing for Spurs was just building up to this.

I think Wales are more than capable of getting through - I wouldn't be surprised if they finished second - and I really hope they do.

I expect Italy to top the group and Turkey to make it so, yes, I'd say the Switzerland game was a must-win. And that worries me a little as Switzerland are typically a solid tournament team who just know how to navigate the group stages.

The Swiss are a better team overall than Wales, but I think Wales will want it more, and have bale so it’s going to be a good game could go either way.

I'd happily take anything but the expectancy for you guys is crazy. You could do really well in the group only for Portugal to knock you out in a high quality game and everyone then saying you'd flopped. Bit unfair that.

I think you'll get to the second round and probably even win the group. But France, Portugal or Germany in the second round is not good news, even if you do have home advantage

Really? What worries you? The defence or maybe a lack of cohesion? I think you have abundance of talent up front but the midfield may be a bit weak and inexperienced so you may not control games as well as you could. You'll surely get four points though at least!

The defence and midfield are very ordinary. Southgate has kept chopping and changing the lineups for the last two years or so and there is no cohesion what so ever.

But France, Portugal or Germany in the second round is not good news, even if you do have home advantage

Funnily enough I think England will do ok against those. It is the lesser teams we will come unstuck against.

I liken England very much to United in that they will score against teams that will attack us but struggle against teams that don't.

That was my feeling to but thought it may be a problem later on in the comp. Against the better sides though United tactics may work. England have enough to be very dangerous on the break if they're compact in defence. Being deep would probably suit the defence better too.

I’ve thought since the draw that our group could be deceptively awkward. However, the fact that even third could be enough makes me think we should scrape through at worst.

Probably not much further than that though, given the draw, a couple of injuries and other factors (being England, basically).
