BBC coverage

For those enraged at the BBC for the coverage of Eriksens collapse, was there anything stopping you from changing channel / turning your TV off / walking away from the screen ?

Something like this is supposed to remind people what's important. But some have already reverted back to their petty politics and outraged mentality.

Can we just take a minute and applaud the work of the medics who saved Eriksen's life, I am glad I witnessed superheroes in action live on TV.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If only the outraged experts on here on broadcasting
coverage could focus more on this point.

If you really went to this trouble to respond to my article below by creating this one you clearly didn’t see my point.

Read my article again slowly, in your case, real slowly.

I am not outraged by the bbc coverage.

I am just calling b0llox on their attempt to weasel out of the outrage by saying UEFA forced them to keep showing it and they had zero control over what was being broadcast

They haven’t said uefa forced them to keep showing it. They just said that in stadium coverage is controlled by Uefa.

Their apology clearly inferred their hands were tied and they couldn’t do anything about it

“Once the match was abandoned then we could cut to the studio”

Which is utter nonsense

Yawn

Who gives a toss.

This is the corporation that employed Saville, Jonathan King and others.

People kept on watching because they were all hoping and praying to see the he was going to be OK. That doesn't mean that it was right for the BBC to keep broadcasting what was going on. I was at a bbq with lots of kids there. As soon as we realised he was being given CPR we turned the TV off, but it was too late by then really. It shouldn't have got that far.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Why not switch off at the point he collapsed, clearly in serious difficulty?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No one saw him go down. We had music on and the footy was kind of on in the background
