Kieffer Moore or Lyndon Dykes?

When Harry Kane leaves for Man City this summer, would it be realistic to say one of Moore or Dykes could come in and fill some of the void left by the England captain?

Both still in their 20's and doing well in the Euros. They won't replicate the goals/assist output of Harry, but they could be a decent focal point for the team.

If the money's right even signing both of them could be great business. Reminds me of the Benzema/Higuain combination at Real Madrid where they'd alternate each week.

If the Kane deal gets over the line at about £110m, you'd probably only need to spend £40m of that to bring both in and then there would be plenty left over to strengthen the defence.

If RVP was worth 24m with a year left on his contract aged 29 in 2012. Then Kane shouldn’t be going anywhere this summer for a penny less than 150m. Which I can’t see anyone paying.

Give him assurances though, he is can leave next summer for £100m. This is the only deal that benefits the club.

Imagine we sell Kane, sign substandard players and the new manager fails. We could be looking at a relegation battle next season. Kane alone negates that happening.

OP

Kane won`t be leaving for less than £150 million, so deal or no deal will be a no deal.

can greenwood even play as a focal point?

Greenwood for me is a natural finisher. Not sure though if he could lead the line, perhaps plying off the shoulder.

Cash plus players seem like a great way for Spurs to get money and players in that would improve the team.

Lyndon Dykes? I'm not a Spurs fan but surely you're on the wind up here? He's severely average at best!! I've watched both Scotland games so far and to their credit they do create a lot of chances. If they had a decent centre forward they could easily have beaten England and got a draw against the Czechs! Their lack of quality up top sticks out like a sore thumb!

I don’t want any player ‘stepping down’ as part of the Kane deal.

If city want him it’s 150 million cash so when spurs do find someone willing to accept managing under levy, then levy can spend it last minute on several panic buys for them.

So you don’t think they could have a benzema/higuain type front line to spurs?
