Our Magnificent 7 !!!

Seven of our squad are at the Euros and all are through to the next round of matches. Performances and appearances have been limited. So from what I've seen, here are my comments.

Patricio:- Played every game so far and has been good in all of them, despite having 4 put past him in the Germany one. Has made some fine saves, especially against France.

Semedo:- Slightly surprised he started, but for me has had good games against Hungary and France, slightly less against Germany. Came off towards the end of the last game with a knock. Hopefully it's not a bad one.


Dendonker:- Not impressed me at all and probably wouldn't have started had De Bruyne been fit from the start. Drifted around aimlessly imo. On this form, I don't think I even want him starting for us.

Moutinho:- Started against France and I thought he was Portugal's best player until being subbed late on. Commanded the midfield and was probably knackered with all his workrate. I hope he stays with us next season.

Neves:- Only appearance was to replace Moutinho and surprised he hasn't had more game time. Difficult to rate with only 15 mins on the pitch.

Traore:- Likewise, only a brief appearance and brought on when the game was safe. Made a couple of his jinking runs and surprised he hasn't been used more as an impact sub.

Coady:- The only one not to have got any game time and I don't think he'll see any unless there are injuries to Stones, McGuire and Mings.
