Not sure how FFP works but how can RM afford Haaland when they are a billion in debt. 2019/20 season they made £100m the year before they had a net spend of £200m. They are looking to offload Varane and maybe others I guess.

Nah they’re done. That dusty vampire Perez is still clinging to the ESL because of how much they’ve fecked their club

Almost certainly be back. As they generally always are.

It’s Real Madrid, they could attract wealthy investors at the drop of a hat

Depends how u gauge success really. Madrid have been bailed out before with dodgey deals and now are hundreds of millions in debt again.
I'd argue Buyern are more successful if you include sustainability. Probably the best run club in the world by some distance I think

According to Perez, Real Madrid will be dead in 2024
Having said that, they're still in the ESL so maybe they think they can still make a go of it. Otherwise I don't see how they could realistically afford Haaland.

It's a dance!
He goes for £68m next summer. He is Mbappe territory were it not for that so there is a game of how much BD will take this year versus next. For him he can wait another year and trouser a big part of the fee than this year.

Haaland has a release clause that kicks in end of next season. 80m€ or so. Given how Raiola is playing this, it looks like Dortmund are guaranteed to lose him then for that amount, so might be more prepared to consider the extra odd 50m now.
