I think its more a case of signing Heaton on a free just incase DDG or Henderson leaves, not that its definitely happening.

I would be surprised if the club let Henderson go, given he is home-grown and has the potential to be our #1. I also can't think of a club DDG would go to given his wages and potential transfer fee.

It will depend on whether he wants to play every week. If he doesn’t feel he will be first choice then he will probably leave. And I am sure he will take a pay cut if he has to.

our best hope is that he now has a girlfriend and kid living in spain, so yeah, you'd think he'd take a pay cut to move back there

Well, he'll be 34 at the end of next season. He can't run anymore, but isn't exactly plagued with injuries. He could wish to carry on.
