Harry Kane staying ?

https://twitter.com/fabrizioromano/status/1411793778025943040?s=21

Tottenham director of football Fabio Paratici: “We want to keep Harry Kane at Tottenham, it’s our goal. I’ve been lucky to see many top players at Juventus and I want to enjoy Harry Kane too. He’s one of the best strikers in the world", he told Sky Sport. ⚪️ #THFC

Tottenham new director of football Fabio Paratici to @SkySport tonight with @DiMarzio: “Harry Kane is a top player. I can’t wait to see him playing with Spurs". ⚪️ #THFC #Sours

Good to finally see some clarity from the Spurs sporting director confirming we want to keep Harry this season. Spurs have been suspiciously silent on the matter, notably Levy in his interviews in which when prompted on Kane, he didn’t give much away. I think the club would look rather stupid if we were to sell him after these comments. It’s positive to see the club are hell bent on him staying and us not strengthening City with our best player and the best striker in Europe. If City truly want him, then fork up 200 mil. If not, f** off and go for Haaland instead. We all know they won’t fork up anywhere near what Levy would want, so Harry will have to get his nut down and help the team finally achieve something this season.

I think it's probably 70/30 that he'll stay but those quotes don't really mean anything. Of course he's going to talk to the dof and manager when euros finish.

He could of just said he’s only interested in the Euro’s at the moment. He really didn’t need to properly answer but he did. Unless City cough up the 160 mil we would want, he’s going nowhere and he won’t kick up a fuss. City won’t be paying that either.

🗣️ "At the prices we are not going to buy any strikers. It is impossible, we cannot afford it"

Pep Guardiola says Manchester City are being priced out of signing a replacement striker for Sergio Aguero this summer.

Exactly... they cannot afford a striker this summer, but can afford to make an initial bid of 100 million. Spurs may have told them it's 160 million for Kane, which City won't pay which has led Pep to make the statement, but to claim City don't have money for a striker is laughable.
Like I said, I think it is 70/30 that Kane stays, but those quotes mean nothing.

That’s not the point is it mate. The point is, they can only go a certain ceiling in terms of bid, hence why Pep is crying and getting frustrated with Harry Kane. They know for a fact Spurs won’t even flinch at 100 mil and why should we ? He’s our star player and has 3 years left on his contract. We will ask for the bare minimum 140 mil and City won’t be paying that, so Kane will have to Knuckle down with spurs. He ain’t going nowhere, it’s more 90/10 if favour of him staying.
