Its a squad game at end of the day. If reports are to be believed that money will be tight then I dont think you will get many better options than him for 20m.

He knows the city, the squad is more or less the same squad that he left so should have no issues settling in. Id much rather him as an option so shaq or origi.

id take him at 20m if he took a wage cut or barca paid some of his wages, 100-150k or w.e milner/shaq are on. wouldnt take him as one of our top earners. 200k salah/vvd.

Shaqiri off the ball is bad, which is why Klopp doesn't play him very often. His numbers are also rammal and on top of all that he doesn't have a position in our current set up.

I didn't want to sign him in the first place.

Yeah I think now is the best time to sell Shaqiri with his performances for Switzerland not going unnoticed.

Getting Coutinho in return wouldn’t be a bad replacement but no way are FSG going to sign a 29 year old on those wages, after Wijnaldum has left for those reasons.

Got a funny feeling Ox is going to do well next season. He’s got something to prove and needs to show his form he showed us in parts in 17/18.

Were being strongly linked with Renato Sanches who looked impressive for Portugal at the euros. Although he is very injury prone and struggled at Swansea on loan there.

looks to have matured a lot since those days, that price tag and expectation at his age probably hindered him. Injuries are big issue with him though clearly, barely played any football considering hes 23 and started aged 15? think it was hundred odd apps and 3rd of them were as a 16/17 year old at a B team.

Lol the only thing ox will do well next season is if he dont get injured for more than 1 week. He seems a nice chap but either him or keita should be shipped out.

I would definitely take him back. Gave us what, 7-8 years of top service even during some awful times and always gave 100%. I know the Barca thing soured things for some but it was always his dream and we got crazy money.

coutinho played reasonbly well if inconsistently over a period. He improved under klopp but took the cash.

He developed to the point he was making the brazil first 11.

He is now a 29 year old coming off the back of a poor 2 seasons in terms of actually playing and contributing to his teams. he apparently pocketed medals though so despite his glitter his contributions were poor.

his wage is 250k per week?

If we want him for that kind of money (like thiago) then he's got to play so where do people see him play?
