Pogba

The problem child that is Pogba again.
Reports from some outlets saying Psg wants him and he is also open to the move. Price of about £50M been quoted.
I say get rid. What do you think.
He has never fully committed and for the type of league where you have to give blood and passion, has been average. Cant continue this circus every season

There is probably one player in our squad who you could argue is in the top 10 United players of all time in their respective position. Should we feck the rest of them off?

Such a weird argument. Just because he doesn't meet whatever your expectations were when we signed him, it doesn't mean he isn't clearly one of our best players.

That was just venting, plenty of other reasons
-Performance Doesnt justify his ridiculous wage
-No where near consistent enough for us(i dont care about france) for a supposed wc player
-every 6 months either him or agent says he wants out, hes actually on camara talking about signing for madrid as a utd player yet his fanboys continue to defend him

Just another dimension to the discussion.

What if Pogba is right? What if this is all rooneyesque?

The man has been here for 5 years and the team and management have been bit meh. Even Ole who has done better than the others since SAF isn't exactly the most experienced or big name out there.

He has played with likes of Lingard, Periera and Mctominay, with a up and down martial (last season v this one), rashford who has amazing stats but blows hit and cold and a newbie in Greenwood who has potential but was some years in the making.

Sure we bought Bruno, but after not buying him and then maybe desperate for a player. We've bought potential in Amad and possibly VDB.

Maybe just maybe Pogba has the whole I'm 28 and things don't look good so for my own career either they invest or I need to go?

I mean the guy is well liked by all at the club, as reports seem to highlight. Hasn't sulked on the pitch per se.

Must be disheartening to be on the pitch with some of our players, whom let's be honest we as fans slate and think aren't good enough.

I get the feeling if Pogba does leave it may highlight we aren't going anywhere fast for a while.

Of course it could just be about money and him being a cant but it's a thought no?

Pogba's 'failure' at United is due to a number of things.

Unrealistic expectations from some fans and pundits.

Quality of his teammates

Poor management

Media attention

Negative influences

And of course, he has been inonsistent at times.

As a fan id much prefer to have him in the side than not.

Or not. Perhaps astute and more fitting buys for the team ethos may actually do the opposite. Who knows. He hasn’t really delivered overall, but on his day is an exceptional player. I don’t quite but the other players part as great players tend to elevate those around them, I haven’t seen him do that often enough for us.

Don’t think he’ll leave though. See him signing a new contract.
