Delighted for Shaw on a personal level.

I followed him on twitter when he was still at Southampton and a saints fan messaged him at like 11pm, asking for a game of Fifa. Obviously just a throwaway, cheeky request but he responded and about an hour and a half later, the lad tweeted the results of the 3 or whatever games they played. Luke messaged again and said to send him his address etc and he'd get a shirt and what have you sent to him.

I've had a soft spot for him ever since, absolutely buzzing for him.

I don't imagine he's unhappy at all. He clearly saw a player in him, his style and method of management just didn't work at all in this situation. If anything, he'll probably be a bit smug and claim a little credit.

That's a very fair point 😅

Good player, but I just can't get past the way that 6man bobsled teams used to find their brakeman.
(Go into the local bar and find the biggest guy.) He looks like a guy that got a game because the team was a man short. He is a good player, just looks like he woke up on a tavern floor. Oh and fek Jose.
