luis conned you there, but saying that the ref was stood 20 cms away he saw exactly what happened, and he just kakked his load
saying that we still would have smacked your booties , it just made the game less of an event
i think even suarez was embarrassed

Why do ppl keep saying he got the ball?
We know that but he followed through and we are told that's not acceptable.

so how do you tackle without your body following on through with momentum, are they supposed to slide in reverse?

Which ppl are you talking about
I guess a host of ex pro's and ex Liverpool players were rong

Metro, he pulled out after wining the ball but couldn't stop his slide, and the toothy fellow decided to jump at his knee, then go down like he'd been hit on the shin with a hockey stick.
Seriously, did you watch the same game as us, or was it on your 'Kenny Cam'?

metro,
it is never acceptable to follow through.
As your laundry cleaner will confirm.

How many times do we here this garbage about follow through? The motion of a tackle automatically means there must be an element of follow through. That follow through is either natural or contrived. The latter is a foul for sure. However, Rodwells tackle was perfectly executed and there was nothing in the follow through that was anything other than normal.
The referee made an extremely poor decision, and from a very good position. Suarez' ridiculous reaction didn't assist at all. There was barely any contact, which was a clip on Rodwells knee.
Unfortunately that poor decision raised the temperature of all Evertons contingent, and that frustration came out on the pitch.
Atkinson knew he had made a poor decision, but instead of putting it to the back of his mind, he let it influence other important decisions he should have made. The reason why people are shouting about consistency. A good referee wouldn't try to 'balance' decisions, but do each one on its merit.
Atkinson is the poorest referee in the PL.
Rodwells red card will be rescinded, but it doesn't mean much after it cost them against their arch rivals.

What a load of drivel
If your follow through is likely to hurt an opponent, whether natural or contrived then it is a foul.
End of.
