Social media (and internet companies at large) will never, ever self regulate.. the past 20 years is evidence enough of that.

Larwgely responsible for a lot of society's ills just now and it's getting worse. Not only that but they are slowly degrading society and socialising in general too. Some younger folk now have no idea how to interact properly when in person with others. The effects on their brains and development won't truly be seen for another decade but the current signs are worrying.

Really needs a joined up global strategy from our Governements to start regulating the power and reach these firms have, and to also make them responsible for anything they publish.. financially and criminally.

Guaranteed a lot of these issues would dry up within a few years.

Thoroughly enjoyed watching Italy outplay and beating the kneelers yesterday.

It seems if they spent more time working on their penalties than trying to perfect taking the knee, they probably would have won.

England have a real problem with this pash tbh, I lived down there for many years and I remember the WC, Japan I think where pubs were open at 7am for the football, Sweden got a draw and that for some reason justified a huge amount of England fans to smash up Kebab shops, Pakistani Corner shops etc.. what the fook it had to do with Sweden is beyond me, idiots.

Was at the old Wembley with 3 mates for our 2-0 defeat at Euro 96 in the Gazza game. Were in an Italian restaurant in Tottenham Court Rd after the game, when the owner basically had to lock the front door then go round all the tables advising nobody to leave at the moment as gangs of skinheads were roaming the streets looking for anybody in Scotland colours ... and that was after the cants had WON. Aye, they have a huge fecking problem. Little reported in the mainstream media at the time right enough, in amongst all the 3 Lions bants "national" feelgood factor.

Thought that looked really poor last night TBH. Fair enough if they see their runner up medals as a sign of failure, but feck me at least walk 10 yards to get off camera first. Uber-wanky behaviour to rip them off as soon as the guy's put it over your head. Lacked class that.

In fairness i think they should do away with losers medals. Nae cant wants one.
