Bottling for me is when we lose in knockouts competitions to lesser teams. When we are the favourite and still contrive to lose the match. We do this in the league but losing to a a favourite in a final isn't Bottling for me.

In a two horse race anything is possible. Leicester were expected to lose to Chelsea in the FA cup but they didn't.

I think this is no different to us beating Chelsea in the league cup. We had no right on paper to win that but we did. We beat Man City over 2 legs to make champs league final..was that Spurs? Or maybe that match didn't matter its only the final that counts. Even then we weren't favourites.

In football, winning trophies is all that matters.

If we got relegated and won the championship this could be a trophy.

Sadly the oil money has distorted lots in football. I'm still excited about seeing the kids like Skipp, Sessegnon, Scarlett, Devine, Nile John breakthrough to represent the club.

I want to win but first lets get the club right. We built an amazing academy and we don't use the talent well.

Been hearing that for the last 10 years mate. Still nothing changes at Spurs. Still we underachieve and win f** all. Still we don’t spend enough on quality in the transfer market. Skipp isn’t going to change that mate.

Regarding Skipp. Saw him play a few times for Norwich and in the U21's for England. He is a steady player but not better the likes of Curtis Jones of Liverpool or Billy Gilmour. Did really well at Norwich but will still need a few more years to develop. At least he is or will become stronger than Winks which is a good sign.

Not really. Every team plays to win. No team just turns up to lose week in week out at a professional level.

Winning can come at different levels but winning trophies is every fans dream. Show me an England fan who doesn't dream about winning the WC again or have another crack at winning the Euros.

Show me a Spurs fans who does want to win the league or an FA Cup in their lifetime. They are lying if they say different. Winning trophies is always the end game.

Totally agree Luka and it depends what context too. Spurs are among the top 10 richest clubs in world football and in recent years, are by the least successful and that includes the mess that is arsenal. A f** awful Arsenal team still have 2 Fa cups to their name. At the end of day, we as a club are massive underachievers as are England. Anyone claiming trophies ain’t all that for a club of our size are talking out their a** hole

Exactly Don, trying to make out there is glory in finishing 4th and qualifying the CL. Funk that. We need a trophy. Harry Kane needs a funking trophy.
