Now before anyone says "not all fans behave as awfully as the fans in question", I know that is the case but we cant ignore that the fans that do cause a problem aren't a small minority. There is quite a large number of them.
Racist abuse towards young black players is shameful and shows we are still a long way from being in a world where a black player can play a game without racist abuse.
We have fans causing havoc on the streets, barging their way into a stadium where they have no ticket, beating up other innocent people and destroying many businesses around. Vandalising posters and much much more.
People wonder why we are so hated by the world? Yes probably more to do with our history of the empire but we don't make it easy on ourselves. Other nations would be willing to move forward from our empire days if we didn't make it so easy for them to hate us.
Just pathetic, embarrassing and humiliating. Instead of losing with dignity, people have behaved liked childish morons and racist thugs.
Why will FIFA and UEFA want anything hosted in the UK now? If I was them I'd say that until we can prove that we can behave like adults we won't be hosting anything like this again. Yes I do understand other countries have similar problems and these organisations should take the same stance against them.
It's time we grow up and maybe we will earn some respect from the rest of the world.

"It's a small minority," is a cliche statement constantly used to excuse the disgusting behaviour of badly behaved English football hooligans and racist thugs. Consider the fan presence at Wembley a reflection of fans across the country. When you take the number of fans who behaved badly yesterday and project it as nationwide figure based on percentage overall yesterday you ain't coming out at any "small" number.
So yes it is a "small minority" of fans who behave badly. But decent fans and football powers need to stop harping that and pay way more attention to the fact that the "Small minority of fans" they keep citing is actually a feckin LARGE NUMBER of people. This ain't a few thousand we're talking about here it's 100s of thousands, possibly a few million. So dismissing them as a small minority is being disingenuous, naive or downright lying when someone knows better really.

The source is the video of the hooligans bum rushing the damned stadium. Plus an understanding of percentages and the ability to project figures roughly based on approximations/reports of the two. But to be honest any fool with a pair of eyes and ears can see enough to work out that we are talking about a substantial number of actual people here. And anyone saying different is just living in denial or delusion.
Tell ya what since you reckon that 100s of thpusands to a few million is supposedly too high, I am curious what you think the figure is. My Trump reference was about how you are pretending something blatantly true, isn't and using tactics of pedantic dispute and insults to distract from the fact your are denying/lying about the reality of English football culture. That's what he does, anything negative about anything, he simply denies it, pretend otherwise and slates the source. It was NOTHING to do with BLM or calling you racist. Rather telling that you jumped to that conclusion, the defensiveness shows you get called "racist or a Trump supporter" a lot. Maybe try working on your delivery so you don't come across like one.
What's weirdest in this is the fact that you actually want to argue that among 30 million fans in the UK it's only less than 200k who are bad apples. It's just plain old STATISTICALLY HIGHLY UNLIKELY the number could be that low given English football culture. FGS I'm pretty sure you're old enough to remember English football hooliganism. And anybody who is shouldn't have any problem admitting to 200k out of 30 million (you saw alot more than that on TV every week in the eighties). You're trying to pretend that fans and football culture changed because everyone cleaned their own act up and football got rid of the thugs. That isn't what happened.
It has been/is in fact HEAVY MATCHDAY POLICE/STEWARD PRESENCE and ban threats which makes fans behave at matches, NOT a change in overall English football culture. They didn't suddenly all just decide to be good boys and girls by themselves, coppers and stewards MADE/MAKE THEM behave every week. Football culture never changed, it just started to behave because there were too many coppers around to get away with kickin off anymore. Wembley demonstrated the TRUE face of English football, instead of the one that get's hidden in PL behind small armies of coppers and stewards each week. English football thugs are still English football thugs and whether you want to admit it or not, there's still PLENTY of them. You simply need remove the heavy police presence from a venue and away the thugs go.
