Lindelpf is too nice. He needs the right amout of esh.ithousery ala Bonucci, Chelini and not just saying this cos Italy won the Euros. I've been saying it for a long time- defenders need to be mean and put fear on strikers not constantly smiling and flicking their hair

Nah when Maguire gets close enough to play with Lindelof's hair, Lindelof shirks the physical contact

as many of Uniteds players are pub standard at best according to a lot of posters in the gang on here including the OP, even Ole should be able to improve most of these players to say Evo-stik League South Premier Division Central standard quite easily.

Most have the "potential" to improve, a lot less have the capacity, resources or 'footballing intelligence' to do so.

Bit of an issue-avoiding question really.

Potential is such an irrelevant concept in terms of team performances, results and success etc.

I think that set piece specialist is going to have more impact than expected.

Also, the attacking line had forwards off form during various parts of the season. I think if there's some consistency to that, we will be extremely dangerous. There's always seemed to be an opportunity and the final ball that goes wayward. I think Sancho here helps on that front.
