Nuno plans two man attack

https://www.101greatgoals.com/top-stories/nuno-espirito-santo-targeting-4-4-2-formation-with-striker-identified-to-partner-harry-kane/

And a 4 4 2 formation.

Not just a premiership ready back up striker (that most of us have been calling for years, but a partner to our main striker (whoever that may be)

Thoughts?

I doubt City would meet Levy's fantastic demands.
Kane should go to PSG as a replacement for Mbappe.
The money will be about equal.
And he will get to play for a manager that he knows well, and players like Neymar.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
In a sheite league where there is little credibility in winning anything. He has more ambition than that.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You may think it is a shiiit league, but many will say that it is a damned sight better than the Premiere league.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nobody has ever said that in the history of the known universe.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What on earth facts do you have to support your rubbish opinion?
Suggest you ask Donnarumma what he thinks?
Or Neymar.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
How often do French teams win in Europe? Also, watching it.

However, I’m not actually knocking the French league, Edward, I’m disputing your suggestion that many say it’s a damn sight better than the Premier League - they simply don’t.

"How often do French teams win in Europe? Also, watching it." ?/

Don't you even know?
A lot more than English teams do.!!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No they don’tThe French have won the CL once in their history haven’t they - Marseille in the early 90’s. PSG won the CWC in 96 and that’s about it. The English have a vastly superior history of winning European club comps.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Your "research" is totally flawed.
Go do it again!
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Really. In that case Ted please educate me, how many European trophies have clubs from France won in total?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
A very small number of clubs consistently win the EU CL...Bayern, Real, Barca.
Every now and then in a blue moon, Inter, Chelsea and AC, Liverpool get into the act.
This is such a small cluster of clubs that no sane person can draw any conclusions about standards in the various leagues.
Which is what you are trying to do.

Going to be hard to plan a 2 man attack with one striker, or no striker if Kane leaves.

Is Vinny still with us or has he gone back?

So my research isn’t wrong? Thanks for confirming.

French clubs have been competing in European club competitions since 1955, that’s nearly 70 years. In that time, they’ve won a measly two trophies; a CL in 1993 and a Cup Winners Cup in 1996. If their league was so strong they would have a significantly better return than that - their European trophy haul is pitiful compared to the German, Italian, English and Spanish clubs. It’s not just the CL, they’ve never even won a UEFA Cup in any of its incarnations. Broadcasters aren’t paying through the nose to acquire rights for Ligue 1 like they are the PL. You’re onto a loser here Ted with your assertion that many think it’s a damn sight better league than the PL. they don’t, because it’s not, end of, and Kane won’t be going there.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There are so many wrong assertions in this that I wont even bother to reply.
Just wait and see what happens this season.

That’s a complete cop out, there are no wrong assertions whatsoever, what I’ve written is literal fact, if you had any balls you’d either exercise your right to reply or admit to being wrong, rather than hiding like a chicken.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You are trying to conclude that the standards of football in the premiership and League Un are comparable based on the results of just a couple of matches.
That is beyond stupidity.
You have to look at what happened in each of the competitions. Maybe a French team lost a final 0-1 on PKs that year, maybe a Spanish side had an easier path, maybe a Spanish side had several French players from the french league, etc etc.
You just do not have an argument a Chipmunk would accept.
Go back to being Deuce and stop trying to reason ridiculous rubbish.
